As I look outside this Saturday, all I can see if BEAUTIFUL! “This is the day the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!” (Psalm 118:24)

I hope everyone out there is doing well today! I just finished a few chores around the house and in the yard with my Pops and now I’m here writing this post! Past month has been pretty good to me, can’t complain! Well…I can but I choose not too! HA!

I took a quick vacation in mid March to visit some very close friends but my trip was also business. I finished the Alma Mater for Voyager Academy and got a chance to visit the choir and work with them through the song. They sounded great and it seemed that they (the students) enjoyed it! That’s very important to me. I want the people who are bringing my music to life to enjoy it! If the performers don’t enjoy it, they aren’t going to put their heart and soul into making it musical. That’s just my opinion coming from my experience in performance.

Here on my Soundcloud is a recording during rehearsal.

They still want me to compose the fight song so I must be doing something right! I was also invited to see their school musical they were performing. They did the ‘King and I’. They did so well and what was impressive was I believe about 25% of the entire academy (K-12) was in the play. It was a sight to see!

Also during my trip I got to spend time with a dear sweetheart of mine, who was working on a beautiful Visual Arts project. Apparently I inspired the idea of the project. WHAT AN HONOR! GLORY! Well after I got home, what I saw of the project was going through my mind over and over. And I could hear music going through my head as I was trying to breakdown the story behind the project. So I chatted with this brilliant artist and said that I wanted to set music to the project! I’ve always wanted to collaborate with this artistic genius and I believe this is the perfect opportunity!

So as you can see, I’ve added it to my Current Projects list. May take until after summer. May take until after Christmas. Inspiration doesn’t have a schedule….but I do 😉 hahaha!

May God Bless You and Keep You!
