2KP – The funny thing about this piece was that it was suppose to be an assignment in one of my theory classes but I had to redo the assignment because I did the wrong thing. But, what the heck, I got a piece out of it right?! The instrumentation is not what you call for everyday (Flute, Clarinet, Bassoon, Horn, Cello, Contrabass). The reason for the piece was to show modulation from the first section to the next and then back to the first section. The problem for me was that the piece also was suppose to emulate Scarlatti’s Sonata form. Yea…didn’t get that concept until after the fact! Sorry professor!
